THE RESIDENT RSSEARCH SPONSORSHIP PROGRAM

The Resident RSSearch Sponsorship Program

The Resident RSSearch® Sponsorship Program

The RSSearch® Patient Registry is the longest and largest established patient registry dedicated to SRS/SBRT established since 2005. This multi-institutional and data-sharing registry has collected over 31,000 cases. The patient registry has become an essential resource for investigators across multiple specialties to evaluate the utility of SRS/SBRT, advance its science for benign and malignant indications, and enhance medical decision-making.

The Radiosurgery Society® is excited to promote research spearheaded by medical and physics trainees by introducing the Resident RSSearch® Sponsorship Program. This program will support interested residents in conducting research related to radiosurgery using the RSSearch® Patient Registry by matching them with a faculty advisor and access to pertinent data from the Registry. All faculty advisors are affiliated with participating institutions for the RSSearch® Patient Registry, and residents will be matched with an advisor with similar research interests and/or other residents worldwide who are conducting similar research endeavors.
