Adaptive Pancreatic Treatment with MR-Linac: Comprehensive Motion Management for Precision and Confidence

December 11, 2025, 1:00am Eastern Time

Presented by:

  • Christopher H. Crane, MD
  • Moderator: Anand Mahadevan, MD

Description and Objectives:

Webinar Description:

This session will feature Dr. Christopher Crane (Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center) sharing his clinical experience using the MR-Linac for pancreatic cancer. Dr. Crane will discuss how real-time imaging and Comprehensive Motion Management (CMM) have enabled more confident, adaptive treatment decisions—transforming daily workflows and outcomes. He’ll also highlight the shift from traditional fractionation strategies to precision ablative dosing, emphasizing how CMM improves visualization, motion tracking, and overall treatment consistency.

Educational Objectives:

• Understand how MR-Linac technology enables more precise dosing in pancreas cases.

• Describe how CMM supports increases clinical confidence of safe treatment delivery of ablative doses that are 2x tolerance of the surrounding GI organs at risk.

• Apply insights from pancreas and liver cases to enhance precision, balanced with workflow efficiency.
