Building Collaborative Teams around SRS/SBRT - Exchanging Experiences and Addressing Challenges

the Radiosurgery Society®

May is Brain Cancer Awareness Month. In 2018, the global incidence of primary brain and CNS tumors was 296,851* newly diagnosed cases, with a greater number of patients diagnosed with metastatic brain lesions. Stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS) is used in the treatment management of both primary and metastatic brain lesions.

This month we are sharing 2 of our recent webinars.

Drs. F. David Barranco & Igor Barani, from Barrow Neurological Institute, recently presented “SRS without the Bunker: Initial Clinical Experience using the ZAP-X Gyroscopic Radiosurgery Platform”.
To learn how SRS and immunotherapy agents are used in the treatment management of brain metastases, view, “Contemporary Management of Brain Metastases in the Evolving Landscape of Targeted and Immune Therapies”, as presented by Dr. John Fiveash and Dr. Louis B. Nabors.
Access to recordings like these are just one of the many benefits of being an RSS member. Find out more about membership here.
