The Radiosurgery Society® (RSS) Board of Directors and staff have been closely monitoring the events and circumstances that continue to evolve around the coronavirus (COVID-19) and its impact on the health and safety of our members, healthcare providers, patients, and the global community. As a result of the recent emergence of new COVID-19 strains, surges in COVID-19 cases, and continued travel bans and restrictions at medical institutions, hospitals, companies and governments, the RSS Board has made the decision to cancel the 2021 RSS Workshop that was scheduled for August 20-21, 2021.
This continues to be an unprecedented time for all, but the RSS remains committed to meeting the needs of our RSS membership and community. With the cancellation of the event in August, we are excited to focus our attention on planning the 2022 RSS Scientific Meeting that will take place at the Omni La Costa Hotel, March 4-6, 2022, in Carlsbad, California.
The RSS continues to offer Continuing Medical Education (CME) credits through the RSS Monthly Webinar Series and the online Self-Assessment-CE Learning Module. The 2020 RSS Virtual Meeting video recordings are also now available online for free to our members.
We look forward to seeing you all in person at the 2022 RSS Scientific Meeting and will soon provide detailed information regarding the 2022 RSS Scientific Meeting.
Stay healthy and safe and thank you for your continued support and understanding.
