Advances in the applications, technologies and methodologies of Stereotactic Radiosurgery/Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy continue to evolve rapidly and the delivery of treatment has become more complex, making it imperative that oncology professional remain current in the state-of-the-art techniques. The Radiosurgery Society is committed to providing educational programming that creates a forum for global collaboration to improve professional practice by increasing their level of knowledge, as required to improve competency in the field of oncology.
This program is designed to meet the needs of radiation oncologists, neurosurgeons, medical physicists, residents-in-training and healthcare professionals with interest in learning about experiences using optical surface monitoring for frameless Radiosurgery.
Explain the rationale for using a surface guidance system for SRS.
Summarize commissioning and quality assurance procedures for a surface guidance system
Describe workflow for intrafraction motion monitoring during SRS using a surface guidance system.
In support of improving patient care, this activity has been planned and implemented by Amedco LLC and the Radiosurgery Society. Amedco LLC is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.

A browser version of Internet Explorer 10.0 and higher or Firefox 3.0 or higher, Google Chrome Version 35 or higher.
A note on browser incompatibility:
We have tested IE 6.x in controlled configurations and we can stream successfully, but there are some versions that may not support the RTMP streams we push out - basically new technology that old technology can't handle.
Possible remedy: upgrade browser version, try alternate browsers such as Firefox.
Flash Player Version 11 or higher. If you have an older version it would be best to upgrade now. It's free and does not require a reboot. http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer
